Oyster beat White Oak

Last Saturday afternoon (6 July) many people were excited as they looked forward to the big game. No, not England v Switzerland, but Oyster Indoor Bowls Club versus the members of White Oak IBC (Swanley).
An exciting game of two halves, with afternoon tea taken at half time, Oyster had the edge for most of the early passes, but White Oak did come back at us strongly early in the second half. 
Fortunately we had a strong triple in ‘Sweet Caroline’ Jordan, plus Sandie up front and skip Dave Bartlett who came out winners 27-2, helping Oyster Captain Sue Swan win the game overall 107-77, with no penalties in sight. Result.
