Oyster win at Prince Arthur

On Sunday 10 November, Oyster took a mixed team away to Prince Arthur, in the KITL. After running away with the lead by about 30 points half way through the match, Prince Arthur suddenly found their form and came back at us strongly, narrowing the gap to just 4 shots at one point. We finally secured the win 91-99, winning on 3, drawing 2 and losing just the one rink. Points were 4-12 to Oyster, aided by our highest winning rink of Barbara Grundy, Maurice O’dell and Dave Turner. A big thank you to Sandie Bartlett who stepped in at literally the last minute, due to some enforced team changes, and having played a singles game that morning in the Top Club match (which unfortunately Oyster lost to Folkestone, at home).
