President v Vice President Game

Sunday 17th November saw the first President v Vice President’s match of the winter season. It was a special occasion as it was the first match between the recently installed President, Roger Benneworth and Vice President Caroline Jordan.
It was a great afternoon played across six rinks and it was agreed before the match that the teams would NOT be nice to each other!!!
The game was played in great spirit and there was a lot of banter across the rinks. Roger and Caroline opposed each other on rink three and the Ladies won…sneaking home by one shot!
It was a very close game and it all came down to the last shot of the game! The President’s team won by two shots…101-99.

Highest for the Ladies, Sue Swan, Barbara Grundy, Sue Close and Christine Stuart.
