CHRISTMAS DRIVE / RAFFLE

This afternoon, (15 December), the club played its’ fun ‘Christmas Drive’ – a match between our men and ladies, prior to the Grand Raffle. The men won the match overall P8, W7, D1, L0. Club medals were awarded to the highest winning teams, as pictured…

Men: Ian Wright, Clive Hollingsbee (skip), Michael Lloyd

Ladies: Carol Brown, Maggie Dillard and Glenda Langford (skip)

The Presidents First Lady, Chris Benneworth, was asked to judge and present a prize for best Christmas outfit. She chose Mrs. Maralyn Whammond.

With regards to the Grand Raffle, Mr Adrian Judd wished to thank the following –
1) All the major sponsors for their kind generosity.
2) Yvonne Gambrill for ensuring members continued to donate some excellent prizes.
3) The members who supported the raffle, by way of ticket purchases – 464 tickets sold £5 / ticket resulting in a nett profit of £2,261.20 into the clubs coffers.
4) Jan Judd for all her hard work in wrapping the prizes and helping with the draw.
5) Members who gave up time to sell tickets at the club.

Winning ticket holders who had their photo taken will be added to the website later (probably on the Sponsors page).
