Narrow loss

Oyster travelled to Ashford today (Saturday 28 June) for an early start (noon) in the summer series of Kent friendlies. It took Oyster a while to get used to the different pace of their green, and at the tea break we were 56-40 down. However, as the old saying goes, everything changes after tea, and it did to a certain extent. Oyster players started to come back at their hosts, and eventually only lost by 5 shots (98-93), winning on 2 of the 6 rinks, with our highest winning rink going to Dave Hutchins, Alan Barden and skip Dave Turner (11-25).

Well done to everyone involved today.
