Today, Saturday 2 August, three of our players played in the (Brian Watson organised) Whitstable Bowls Club ‘Ron Pring’ annual triples tournament. Using the umbrella of Dave Turner’s association with Kent Police bowls, Dave Ferguson, Dave Turner and Tom Attaway won all five of their matches to win the first prize of £120 plus the trophy. (Dave Bartlett was also there as volunteer umpire for the day)! Well done all.
