We can now report on some successes for ‘Team Oyster‘ and those players who have reached the Nottingham Finals.
28 March – Top Club: Our team will play Egham in the semi-final. (Then if successful, the final will be played the next morning). The team selected to play are Sandie Bartlett, (2 bowl singles), Tom Attaway, (2 bowl singles), Dave Ferguson & Sian Honnor (Pairs), Lin Riches, Ken & Dex Weyand (Triples), Kay Ferguson, Sheila Bartholomew, Ian Honnor & Charles Bruder (Fours). Travelling reserves are Sylvia Sweeting, Nick Holley & Joe Vandepeer, with Team Manager Mark Crowhurst.
30 March – Men’s Fours: Ian Honnor, David Ferguson, Dex Weyand and Charles Bruder.
1 April – Women’s Singles: Sian Honnor. (Sian is the current holder of this title).
12 April – Women’s Pairs: Kay Ferguson & Sian Honnor. Men’s Pairs: Ian Honnor & Charles Bruder
14 April – Family Pairs: Ken & Dex Weyand
