DUDLEY HOILE CHAMPIONS

Oyster are the Kent County DUDLEY HOILE Champions, for the second year running. With home advantage, (purely by rotation), Oyster played the team from Angel IBC this morning in the semi-final, (on the top rinks), with the other semi-final being played out between Swale and Folkestone. Oyster won on both rinks, with Angel conceding before 21 ends had been played.

In the afternoon, the Final was played on Rinks 2 and 3, with Folkestone being the opposition. Some excellent bowling from both clubs all afternoon, cheered on by good support.

The match was finally won by Oyster, again winning on both rinks, (39 – 26). Congratulations to them all, and a big thank you for the organisers, as well as Emma and her team working both the bar and kitchen all day.

The County President, Trevor Glenn, was on hand to present the Trophy to Team Manager, Mark Crowhurst, with Oyster President Roger Benneworth looking on.
