This afternoon, Sunday 2 August, the club held a social bowls event, by playing a 4321 event, across all 8 rinks. A big thank you to all of the 48 players who turned out and from the comments received, I think this was enjoyed by all. 4 games of 4 ends were played, with a T&B break half way. As usual, the result was won on shot difference, with 2, of the 16 teams today, winning all of their games, with the shot difference between them being just 7.
In 2nd place, winning Oyster silver medals, were Team Iguana, Anne Holder, Alan Wood and Gordon Bourn.
In 1st place, winning Oyster gold medals, were Team Elephant, Sandie Bartlett, Caroline Jordan and Germano Maraviglio.
