Oyster Indoor Bowls Club is located in the picturesque town of Whitstable and can be found at the east side of the thriving Whitstable Harbour, and only 100m from the beautiful natural shoreline. The club is conveniently sited on a main bus route, and is a 12-minute walk from Whitstable railway station. The club is fortunate to have a large free car park (for members), making the club ideally positioned for members living within the Whitstable, Herne Bay and Canterbury communities.
The club boasts two 4-rink bowls greens, with electronic scoring. There is ample changing room facilities with secure lockers for our members.
We have a well-stocked bar, offering various types of refreshments and snacks. On match days we often provide hot meals for all players of both teams, cooked ‘in-house’ in our fully equipped kitchen. There is ample seating for over 80 people to sit and eat their meals in comfort. When not being used as a dining room, the room is used for other club functions such as bingo and quiz nights, along with official meetings.

The club also has another room commonly known as ’The Library.’ This is basically a store room, housing our photocopier, 'pigeon holes’ for members mail, and quite a selection of used books, puzzles and other media which have been donated for others to buy, (for which there is an honesty box on the wall). Proceeds go into club funds.

We offer secure, separate male and female changing facilities, which incorporate personal lockers (annual charges apply).
