KITL WIN

On Sunday, 30 November, Captain Brian Watson and his Oyster team played host to Dartford Stone Lodge, in a KITL Mixed League match. In an evenly contested match for the opening 9 ends, it was the visitors who got the upper hand in the latter stages of the match, winning 4 of the 6 games, giving them 8 points. Although that meant Oyster only won 2 of the 6 games, we still won the match thanks to a sterling effort by our highest winning rink of Sandie Bartlett, Germano Maraviglia and Dave Bartlett, who managed to pull off a 40-4 win, helping Oyster to win the match 108-89 (although the points were shared 8-8)!

We all enjoyed a drink and dinner together afterwards, so a special thank you to Emma and her team for all their hard work in the bar and kitchen all afternoon.
